Spooky Science, Hauntingdon V, Oystoberfest and More Around Baltimore this Weekend

Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Check out some of the fun things going on around town.

Hauntingdon V: End of the World

  • Where: 2900 block of Huntingdon Avenue
  • When: Saturday, October 27, 2012,  5-8 p.m.
  • Description:  The event features trick or treating, activities and a costume parade. The brave can even explore the "decrepit Haunted sewers of Old Remington" and their slimy walls.
  • Pricing: free

Hampden Halloween Dance

  • Where: 3535 Chestnut Avenue
  • When: Friday, October 26, 2012,  8 p.m.-midnight
  • Description:  Join us for a Halloween Dance on Friday, October 26th at the Hampden Republican Club! Tickets are $25 and include all you can drink beer and soda. All proceeds will benefit the Roosevelt Soccer Program at the Roosevelt Recreation Center in Hampden. Costumes are encouraged. Please contact Ronnie at twoguystrash@aol.com to purchase tickets.

3rd Annual KidsPeace Trick-or-Trot 5K

  • Description:  Kids are invited to join the Oriole bird on a run through Canton and Patterson Park.  Participants and race fans are invited to dress up in Halloween costumes and stay for a post-race party.  Proceeds benefit KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs of Maryland and Washington D.C.

  • When: Sat., Oct. 27, 2012, 12:00 p.m.
  • Description:  Halloween-themed displays, entertainment, contests and more.  Visitors are encouraged to dress in creative costumes.

Huber's Farm Haunted Hayride

  • Where:  11898 Philadelphia Rd., Kingsville, MD

  • Description:  30+ min. Halloween-themed hayride.  Food, drink and DJ entertainment available for those waiting in line.
