Water Main Break Repaired

About 60 homes were without water after a 10-inch water main broke on Falls Road.

Water should be returned shortly to about 60 homes in the Medfield neighborhood of North Baltimore following a water main break Thursday morning.

Kurt Kocher, a Department of Public Works spokesman, said the water main break in the 4100 block of Falls Road was repaired at about 5 p.m. and that water should be back on after valves are turned back on, and if no other leaks are found.

He said the break was first reported to the city at about 8 a.m.
