Middle Branch Waterfront Festival


The purpose of this festival is to celebrate the Middle Branch Park and Basin in support of the city's goal towards a "Swimmable/Fishable 2020". The festival will also support Reach High Baltimore, a rowing program created to get inner city middle school children on the water, and near nature while teaching them how to row.

The festival will include A full day of fun, entertainment, land and water-based activities such as: kayaking, canoeing, learn-to-row opportunities, eco-tours in the Patapsco River, a 3K Fun Run/Walk, hands-on environmental activities, demonstrations, contests, games, kids' fun zone and more!

Also several Baltimore food trucks will be present as well as vendors, live bands, a DJ and a wine/beer garden.

Participating organizations include: Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks, Baltimore Rowing Club, Blue Water Baltimore, Cherry Hill Homes, Family Health Centers of Baltimore, Living Classrooms, Maryland Department of the Environment, Medstar Health Harbor Hospital, Parks and People Foundation, Waterfront Partnership, Westport Boys/Girls Club

The festival will take place at the Baltimore Rowing Club's boathouse.
