Solstice 2012

The Maryland Science Center will celebrate summer and science in style at its 35th annual fundraising gala, Solstice, on Saturday evening, June 23, 2012. The Maryland Science Center’s largest fundraising event of the year will feature live, dance-floor-filling music, delicious dining and signature drink selections.

Gracing the gala with grooves this year will be Capitol Records recording artist Eli “Paperboy” Reed and the True Loves, performing their soulful sounds and pop hits. Guests will enjoy delectable gourmet buffets and fabulous signature cocktails while celebrating the summer solstice in grand fashion. The Maryland Science Center’s hundreds of interactive activities and exhibits will be open for perusing party-goers.

All proceeds from Solstice will help support the Maryland Science Center’s educational programs and outreach to Maryland schools and the community.
