Hampden Merchants Celebrating Holiday First Fridays

Merchants will be offering special events, sales and staying open late.

It’s the holiday shopping season and the Hampden Village Merchants Association is celebrating First Friday every Friday through Dec. 21.

Local businesses in one of North Baltimore’s most thriving neighborhoods will be staying open late, offering special events and sales, according to an email from the association.

Dec. 2, at 1p.m.: The Mayor's 40th Annual Christmas Parade with Grand Marshal Laura Lippman

Dec. 8, 3 p.m.: Ms. Santa Crawl 2012 

Dec. 15 and 22, noon-3 p.m.: Baltimore School of Rock Carolers (vocal students from the school singing holiday songs)

Dec. 15 and 16 and 22 and 23 from 1-5 p.m.): Santa will be on the Avenue
