Mill Valley General Store Returns to Remington

The Mill Valley Garden Store will reclaim its spot from the former Baltimore Food Co-Op.

The Baltimore Food Co-Op closed its doors last month just more than a year after opening; but the Mill Valley General Store will be re-opening in its place on Thursday.

The Mill Valley General Store had previously occupied the space, at 2800 Sisson Street, before transitioning to the Baltimore Food Co-Op. The general store had been open at that location from 2004 to 2011.

"We had nine good years and wonderful customers and we’re going to hang in there and keep plugging along," said Cheryl Wade, owner of the general store.
