Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital Offers Renovation Tours

Brunch will be served at the Mt. Washington Tavern during the event.

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and the Mt. Washington Tavern are teaming up to offer public tours of the hospital’s $9.2 million renovations and a lunch at the newly reopened restaurant.

A tour of the hospital, located at 1708 W. Rogers Avenue, will be offered at 9 a.m., Nov. 18 and will show off the hospitals new family-friendly entrance, main lobby and Neonatal Care Wing, according to the news release.

At 10 a.m. there will then be a 1.1 mile walk to the tavern where brunch will be served at 10:30 a.m. and a shuttle back to the hospital between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The tavern recently reopened following after a fire destroyed the original building last year.

The public may purchase tickets for the event at the hospital on Nov. 18 or via its website www.mwph.org.
