Roland Park Shopping Center Structure Unsound

The finding by the Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation could delay the opening of a planned restaurant.

The space for a planned restaurant in the Roland Park Shopping Center is structurally unsound.

The Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation expressed concerns about serious structural problems with the building that was formerly occupied by Roland Park Bakery and Deli, according to the Baltimore Messenger.

The proposed restaurant was supposed to open this spring but those plans are now in doubt.

This is the second round of bad news for the shopping center in recent months.

In February, police had to bulk up patrols at the center following a of two women near the area.
