Visions for Vacancies: AID Pharmacy

Patch wants to know what you think should replace this business.

In September Patrick Burke, owner of AID Pharmacy, made a difficult decision and decided to of the business that served Hampden residents for decades.

The perfect storm of too many regulations and the looming competition from Walmart at the 25th Street Station helped force Burke's hand.

But now the building that formerly housed pharmacy, located at the corner of Chestnut Avenue and W. 36th Street, needs a new tenant.

Although a representative from JBL Real Estate said they are in negotiations with a possible tenant (rumors about what will go there are rampant), the building is still up for grabs.
