Cresa Promotes Scott Wingrat To Senior Vice President At The Corporate Real Estate Advisory Firm's Growing Baltimore Location

January 13, 2014 (Baltimore, MD) – Cresa, a corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of fully integrated services, announces today that it has elevated Scott Wingrat to Senior Vice President at the company’s Baltimore office.

As founding member of Cresa Baltimore, Wingrat leads the firm’s Baltimore location, which opened in May of 2012. Under his direction, Cresa Baltimore has negotiated transactions for a wide range of clients, collectively reaching into the millions of square feet.

As a result of his industry expertise, Wingrat has helped a vast array of businesses and organizations significantly reduce their occupancy costs while making them more efficient users of their real estate.

Recent transactions include Direct Energy US Home Services, G.1440/Constellation Software, HighPoint Global, National Government Services, Wood Partners and XO Communications.

As Cresa Baltimore witnesses robust demand for its tenant-advisory services, Wingrat is also tasked with running its day-to-day operations and bringing on board talented professionals to further expand the office.

“I’m excited and honored that Cresa has named me Senior Vice President and entrusted me this great responsibility,” Wingrat says. “We have made considerable headway in a short period of time, and I look forward to maintaining this momentum and continuing to grow the Baltimore location.”

Steve Schaumberg, a Managing Principal with Cresa Washington DC, which in addition to Baltimore has area offices in Bethesda, the District of Columbia and McLean, says that the firm promoted Wingrat “to recognize his significant contributions in making our Baltimore location extremely successful. Our board has a tremendous amount of confidence in Scott, and we firmly believe that he will play a vital role in Cresa Baltimore becoming a dominant force in Charm City.”

Outside of the office, Wingrat is actively involved with The Associated, a non-profit organization based in Baltimore, where he is a member of its Real Estate Industry Group Committee, a board member of its Young Leadership Council, and a member of the AJC Real Estate Board.
