Batten Down the Hatches

Hurricane Sandy, aka Frankenstorm, appears headed for the East Coast.

As of Friday morning, it appears that North Baltimore could be in for a bumpy ride by early next week.

The current National Weather Service projections have Hurricane Sandy approaching Maryland by 2 a.m. Monday and severely impacting local weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.

According to a news release, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake met with agency heads to discuss Baltimore’s storm preparedness.

Running up to and during the storm, North Baltimore Patch will be bringing you real time updates on the storm, with local coverage about the storm’s impact on the city’s northern neighborhoods.

Yes, I like it too so far. I especially like that my blog entries will be posted immediatelyRead More (although I haven't tried yet) and that they took the photo of my mug down. I hated having my picture splattered all over the paper.
