Baltimore Restaurant Week begins Friday with many popular dining establishments offering three-course dinners at discounted prices.

Baltimore is about to become every foodie's heaven. 

Diners who may have been looking forward to checking out the city's most talked-about restaurants will have a chance beginning Friday when "Baltimore Restaurant Week" kicks off.

Restaurant Week features area restaurants with an array of delicious cuisine, and chefs serving up special menus at affordable prices for diners looking to indulge.

Baltimore Restaurant Week, hosted by Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and Visit Baltimore, is an effort to bring new patrons to local eateries while also offering diners a chance to taste the city's best cuisine.

All participating restaurants will offer special three-course menus for either $30.13 or $20.13. 

Some will offer a special two-course lunch menu for $15.13.

Popular dining choices in Baltimore including Fogo de Chao, Pazo Restaurant, Ruth's Chris Steak House (both the Water Street and House at Pier 5 locations) and Aldo's Ristorante Italiano will be participating in the event, along with many others.
