Funeral Held for Patrick 'Scunny' McCusker

A funeral was held at Cathedral of Mary Our Queen for the late owner of Nacho Mama's and Mama's on the Half Shell.

Funeral services were held in honor of restaurateur Patrick "Scunny" McCusker on Wednesday at Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in North Baltimore.

McCusker, a Cockeysville resident, was killed after he was while riding his bike in Ocean City last weekend.

The 49-year-old McCusker was the owner of the popular Canton restaurants Nacho Mama's and Mama's on the Half Shell.

During an appearance on WYPR's Midday with Dan Rodricks, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who was there to discuss the appointment of Anthony Batts' as the city new police commissioner, took the opportunity to remember McCusker's generosity.

"I'll miss him. He was a one of a kind. Anybody who met him for even a minute could tell he was a one of a kind," Rawlings-Blake told Rodricks. "He was generous beyond measure."

Yes, I like it too so far. I especially like that my blog entries will be posted immediatelyRead More (although I haven't tried yet) and that they took the photo of my mug down. I hated having my picture splattered all over the paper.
