Johns Hopkins University Homewood Field on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Why go:

It may not feel like spring, especially after winter weather coated the area earlier in the week. However, spring sports are in full swing, and the Johns Hopkins University's men's lacrosse team is taking on Siena.

Pricing:

Reserved Seating: $10, General Admission: $8, Youth General Admission: $6

Where/When:

Loyola University Maryland, 4501 North Charles St., on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go:

Loyola University is celebrating women's sports by hosting its Women in Sports Day. It features face painting, autographs and free goodie bags for each attendee. It also features free admission for girls to watch the Loyola University's women's basketball team take on St. Peter's.

Pricing:

The event is free to girls in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.

Where/When:

Grace United Methodist Church, 5405 N. Charles St.,  Sunday at 5 p.m.

Why Go:

You can also be entertained and do some good this weekend. Grace United Methodist Church is hosting an AIDS Benefit Variety Show. It will feature a reprise of the hits from "The Brannan Years."

Pricing:

Adults: $12.50, children (12 and younger): $5. Patrons of $50 or more receive two complimentary tickets

Where/When:

Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah, 7000 Rockland Hills Dr., Baltimore, on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Why Go:

Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah will be hosting the Baltimore Jewish Reggae Festival. The show will also feature a set by jam band Aharit Hayamim from Isreal. This is the group's only performance in the Baltimore area.

Pricing:

Advance: $10, at the door: $15

Where/When:

Maxie's Pizza Bar Grille, 3003 Charles Street, Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Why Go:

Nothing says the weekend quite like pizza. Maxie's, which is located at Charles and 32nd Street, offers a laid-back atmosphere to grab a slice. It also offers a relaxed bar area where you can grab a drink or enjoy one of its large entrees.
