It's the weekend before Valentine's Day. Spent a romantic evening at the BMA as the Baltimore Ballet performs several classic pieces.

Why Go:

A good way to spend an evening and help one of the few shelters in Baltimore that provides refuge to men, women and children.

Why Go:

A unique opportunity to hear several hours of music from Johann Sebastian Bach, German composer who rose to prominence in the 18th century.

Why Go:

A great local place to grab some Mexican food. Holy Frijoles has a unique atmosphere and offers an affordable place to grab a bite to eat.

5. STARGAZING FRIDAYS

Where/When:

The Maryland Science Center, 601 Light St., 5:30-9 p.m.

Why Go:

It’s a chance to observe the moon, planets and stars above Charm City’s nighttime skies.

Pricing:

Free entry, but doesn’t include access to the entire Science Center.
