A man fought with a police officer after trying to take crab meat from Giant.
According to Baltimore police, at 7 p.m., June 22, a man tried to leave the Giant, located at 1020 W. 41st St., without paying for diapers, detergent and about $50 of crab meat.
At that point an employee and a customer tried to stop the man from leaving, and he started fighting with them.

A police officer eventually arrived at the store and the man began to fight with the officer.
The man was eventually detained and taken for an area hospital for an emergency evaluation.

A warrant for the man’s arrest has been obtained.
