On Wednesday, join a free music and dancing celebration with Zoe Johnston at The Red Canoe, 2337 Harford Road, a coffee shop and children’s bookstore in Lauraville.  The fun starts at 10:30 a.m. every first and third Wednesday and it is a definite hit with the pre-school set with musical instruments for the kids to play with and a whole lot of dancing!

Whether you have a teenager or a toddler at home, classical music is something everyone should be exposed to. The Peabody Institute has an abundance of ongoing recitals throughout the year, many of them at no charge.  Some  events on the March calendar include choral, jazz, trombone, woodwind and brass, and string quartet performances; there are midday and evening recitals times.  Concerts run almost daily. Visit the friends and family events calendar to choose the right concert for your family’s interests.
