Heavy rains soaked the area and brought some flooding to the area. Low-lying areas in North Baltimore like mills were evacuated because of the rising waters of the Jones Falls. 

The Baltimore City Council held a hearing regarding Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's proposed of council seats. Although the hearing at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute was the only one to be held in North Baltimore, the concerns of Butchers Hill residents dominated the testimony.
