Open Thread: Do Traffic Circles Bother You?

Share your thoughts and opinions with other Patch readers.

Earlier this month the Department of Transportation finished building a long planned "mini-roundabout" at 39th Street and Canterbury road in the Tuscany-Canterbury neighborhood.

But the new traffic-calming device has apparently aggravated residents who think the traffic circle is ineffective and unsightly, according to the Baltimore Messenger.

A similar roundabout in Charles Village at 32nd Street and Guilford Avenue has also annoyed residents in that neighborhood—leading some neighbors to even decorate the circle in an odd protest of its presence.
