Readers Sound Off on $500 Million Plans

Readers tell Patch what they would do if they won Friday's Mega Million drawing jackpot.

Just talking to coweorkers about this. I'd perhaps give a buck to 500 million people so they can buy a lotto ticket.
Oh naturally though......pay off my debts, pay off debts for family and close friends and of course.........
Have The Senator becoming what it CAN be and SHOULD be!! :-)

According to Forbes March 2012, the value of the Baltimore Orioles is $460 million. I'd meet or beat the price!

Charitable giving would definitely be a big part of my plan - I'd love to be able to give back to Baltimore in a big way, But quietly. (After 20 years working at the Baltimore Community Foundation, I know it's possible!)

I would rebuild the Royal Theatre, upgrade "The Point" to make it competitive again, fund 1st class recreation centers for the City's Youth as well as provide them with tutors in high school and scholarships for whatever college they wanted to attend in Baltimore City, restore as many blocks of houses as possible beginning with the building at the corner of Gwynns Falls and Archentoroly Terrace and fund a place for the Arabbers and insure they continue to be a part of our tradition.
