Storms Heading Toward Baltimore

There's a chance of thunderstorms and strong winds sweeping through the city Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Some rough weather could be heading our way later this afternoon.

The National Weathers Service is calling for a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. But the storms could generate gusts of wind up to 37 mules per hour.

The approaching weather system could result in high winds in the area lasting through Saturday.

BGE issued a news release Friday morning that they will be monitoring the storm that could cause trees and branches to come down and knock over power lines.
