Swollen Jones Falls Continues to Rush Through North Baltimore

Mt. Washington Mill was open to the public on Thursday despite being evacuated the day before.

Thursday morning, a swollen Jones Falls continued to move swiftly through commercial areas at Mt. Washington Mill and Clipper Mill in North Baltimore.

On Wednesday, the Mt. Washington Mill had to be evacuated because of the rising waters. But by Thursday morning, the shopping center was open to the public.

The bridge leading to the Clipper Mill development from Clipper Mill Road was still blocked off by Baltimore City police on Thursday morning.

Despite the significant rainfall overnight, there have been no reports of extensive damage due to flooding in North Baltimore.
