Abell Community Street Fair

The Abell Improvement Association is pleased to announce the 2013 Abell Community Street Fair will take place Sunday, September 22, 2013 in the 3100 block of Abell Avenue in Charles Village from 12 noon to 5 PM. With Abell Avenue's brightly-painted rowhomes as a backdrop, the Street Fair is a wonderful, grassroots event featuring locally-sourced live music, an all-you-can eat crab feast, local vendors and exhibitors, our famous children's parade and activities, and Baltimore’s best Silent Auction. The Abell Community Street Fair highlights the idiosyncrasy and intimacy that defines our community. Each year the festival draws 1,000 neighbors and guests. Year after year, festival-goers and exhibitors tell us our Street Fair is one of their favorite events because it allows everyone to truly connect with each other in a fun, laid-back environment and be reminded of what makes Abell one of Charm City's most charming neighborhoods.

The event will feature great local vendors, a silent auction, childrens' parade (Harry Potter theme), childrens' activities, all you can eat Crabs for $40, live music from Jazz Lunch, Chris Pumphrey,The Timothy Bracken Complex, The Happy Hours, and DJ Mills, Beer!, and grilled delicacies such as hot dogs and hamburgers.
