Baltimore Museum of Industry Wine Festival

The Baltimore Museum of Industry invites wine connoisseurs, enthusiasts and amateur sommeliers to an afternoon of tasting, pairing and swirling at the Museum’s  Wine Festival fundraiser, Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 1-4 p.m.

This year’s Festival theme is “Legends and Newcomers.” Guests will compare the wines of legendary, long time wineries as well as young wineries that have the industry buzzing. Among the Legends will be vintages from Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Clos du Val, and Freemark Abbey, legendary California wineries whose triumph at the 1976  Judgement of Paris tasting shocked the wine world.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take home bottles of their favorite wines at  discounted prices.  All proceeds from ticket sales and wine purchases will help the Baltimore Museum of Industry provide award-winning school programs to over 70,000 students a year and sustain its vast archival and artifacts collection.
