Cruellest Month Poetry Open Mic Night

Join us to celebrate the last day of National Poetry Month with some of Baltimore's most exquisite poets.

The Cruellest Month Poetry Open Mic Night will be held in the garden of the Village Learning Place (VLP), located at 2521 St Paul St, Baltimore, MD 21218.


We'll start at 6pm and go to about 7:30. Light refreshments will be served.

Invited,
and hopefully getting on the mic, will be students from the VLP's LINK
class who have been participating in Poetry in Community's Class for
Writers. The students have been working on an anthology of creative writing since last October and will see their work in print at a book
launch on May 9 at the VLP.


Please come and share your own work and encourage the poetry of many
local writers, especially our youngest and up-and-coming artists.
