2013 National Capital Christian Education Conference

Welcome to the 2013 National Capital Christian Education Conference! After having a few logistics challenges this summer, we are pleased to announce that this year’s conference will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center! We are so excited how God is growing our conference and how He has provided this venue for us! We think you will be pleased as well.

Our conference offers a Christian Resource Exhibits area. There you will find Christian education supplies from over 40 vendors. Be sure to check out each vendor for your Christian education needs.

The weekend begins with a Pre-Conference Ministers’ Summit Friday afternoon. Three local pastors will tackle the topic of Pastoral Ministry in the 21st Century, and a panel discussion to follow. A light lunch will be served.

Our plenary session takes place Friday evening and Saturday morning and includes Praise and Worship and Keynote Address. And we are pleased to announce that Carolyn Custis James, noted conference speaker and author, will be our first-ever female to deliver a keynote address! We look forward to her words of encouragement and challenge to both men and women.

Youth Ministry Boot Camp II takes place all day Saturday. Youth ministry leaders are encouraged to register one or two youth-in-training to attend this boot camp. Specially designed workshops for these youth in leadership will be offered simultaneously with youth leader workshops. The day promises to be a time of quality workshop sessions, Q&A and networking among youth leaders and youth in leadership to help young people do extraordinary things for Christ.

Women in Leadership Session led by Carolyn Custis James takes place Saturday morning, and a Special Session for Men follows in the afternoon on the topic, Climbing the Ladder from Ordinary to Extraordinary: Imagine the Possibilities. Men, you don’t want to miss this!

We are pleased to offer over 120 workshops all day Saturday on a wide variety of topics. Past conference attendees have found these workshops to be invaluable not only in terms of ministry training but for personal spiritual growth, and we think you will agree.
