GBMC Father's Day 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk

The 26th Annual Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) Father’s Day 5K, hosted by the GBMC Foundation and presented by the GBMC Volunteer Auxiliary, will consist of a 5K run (3.1 miles) and one-mile fun walk to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at GBMC. In 25 years, the Father’s Day 5K has raised more than $1.6 million for critically ill and premature babies cared for in the NICU. The GBMC NICU provides the very best medical care for babies born too small, too sick or too soon.  GBMC’s NICU is one of the largest in the area, caring for more than 400 babies annually. These fragile babies are cared for by hospital staff specializing in newborn care and require equipment designed just for them. Proceeds from the annual event will benefit the GBMC NICU specialized equipment, quality facilities and experienced clinical staff.
