Joseph Richey was founded by the All Saints Sisters of the Poor in 1987 with a mission to provide care to those who might not be able to access hospice care – especially those who are alone or who lack an able caregiver.  We provide home hospice services and inpatient services in our 20-bed facility located in Baltimore City.
Two years ago, Dr. Bob’s Place opened adjacent to Joseph Richey to provide palliative, end-of-life, and respite care for children living with life limiting conditions as well as support and bereavement care to families.  We provide home hospice care services as well as inpatient services in our 10-bed facility.  Jack Lyman (pictured) died peacefully on September 6, 2012 at Dr. Bob’s Place.  He was in a nice big bed, wearing his own clothes, not hooked up to any machines.
