An Extraordinary Encounter in Charles Village, Art meets Nature

One of my favorite tourist destinations is an easy walk from my workspace. The Baltimore Museum of Art's sculpture gardens offer an extraordinary blend of world class sculpture and exceptional planting design.  There are, in fact, two sculpture gardens to the east of the museum. The upper one was designed by George Patton of Philadelphia, the lower one by Sasaki of Watertown, Mass. The original landscape plantings have been updated with imaginative compositions of perennials and tropicals. Have you been thinking about adding some excitement to your landscape? Consider introducing some native perennials and grasses. Promote wildlife habitat. If you have questions or are looking for ideas, feel free to contact me at www.brentonla.com.
