Abell Community Throws Another Great Street Fair

2012 Abell Street Fair

Abell Community Street Fair had fantastic fall weather for its Sunday, September 23 afternoon block party along Abell Avenue and 32nd Street with live music by The Organic Family Band, DJ Mills, Jon Birkholz Jazz and The Black Marks.

Billled in Mary Pat Clarke’s Weenend Happenings as “the funkiest 2-block long Street Fair in all of Eastern Charles Village” it draws folks from all directions for one of Baltimore’s Best events.

This year’s fair included the Third Annual Abell Children's Parade with a theme of “101 Dalmatians” to celebrate the 101st anniversary of Abell Avenue!

Along two blocks of AIA were food, craft vendors, children’s activities, a crab feast, a silent auction, great local musicians onstage and people of all ages and from many nearby neighborhoods coming together for a few hours of celebrating community and all that is good about living in Charm City.
