Runners left Lake Montebello today (Sept. 29th) coming across East 33rd Street supporting Marian House in the annual Race to Embrace Independence.
Swinging onto Ellerslie into Better Waverly, heading east again at Gorsuch, runners got greeted in front of Marian House by peppy music, line dancing cheerleaders, baloons and pompoms. Given water just past the one mile marker, they were off again back to circle the lake for their finish.
