I have not been blogging lately while spending time on a research project designed to improve my understanding of environmental history, which I hope to write about in the new year here and elsewhere.
But for now let me just say Seasons Greetings to anyone who actually sees this blog.
Images posted with this message include Odaat, my dog, walking along the shore by the Patapsco near Fort Howard and North Point this Christmas Day as well as the light in the water there to warn off mariners from nearby rocks with Key Bridge in the background. Also here is the photo I used for holiday post cards this year taken at Baltimore Conservatory with the red lanterns and another one taken last week of me with Santa and Mrs Claus there, too.
