City Announces Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Days

Residents will be able to dispose of household hazardous waste at the Northwest Citizen Convenience Center in Remington.

Residents will be able to drop off hazardous waste the in Remington starting Friday.

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works, announced Tuesday that it will again be hosting several "Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Days" at this site, located at 2840 Sisson St.

Residents are able to dispose of materials such as oil-based paints, pesticides and drain cleaners, according to a news release.

To drop off material residents must provide proof of city residency with a driver’s license, telephone bill or tax bill before they can dispose of material.

The dates of the days are:

  • May 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • June 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • July 27 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Aug. 24 and 25 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Sept. 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Oct. 26 and 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Nov. 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
