Police Charge 17-year-old in Attempted Robbery

Police say they found a knife on the teenager who is accused of trying to rob two women on St. Paul Street.

A 911 call led to the arrest of a male teenager police believe is responsible for an attempted robbery.

Daniel Rockwell, 17, has been arrested and charged as an adult in the of two female joggers on Jan. 18 in the 3900 block of St. Paul Street, according to Baltimore City police.

A witness called 911 on Sunday to report a suspicious male wearing dark clothing, a ski mask and an orange hat, near 39th Street and Greenway. Officers from the responded and arrested Rockwell. Police found a 10- to 12-inch silver knife in the sleeve of the teenager's jacket, according to a news release.

Rockwell was charged as an adult with attempted robbery, assault, concealing and possessing a dangerous weapon, the press release stated.
