7-Eleven Robbed of Cash, Cigarettes

The robbers were armed with a silver handgun.

The 7-Eleven in Wyman Park was robbed at gunpoint, and the robbers made off cash and Newport cigarettes.

The robbers entered the store at 4:20 p.m., Oct. 2 in the 600 block of West 33rd Street armed with a silver handgun.

The robbers ordered the employees to open both cash registers and put the money in a black bag. After taking the money the robbers also put cigarettes in the bag as well.

After taking the cigarettes the robbers got in a green vehicle and drove away.

That's the 3rd convenience store robbed in the same zip code within a month. All of them have security cameras. Shouldn't there be an arrest by now?

Agreed Kathleen. Seems like they should have been able to close in on these guys by now. It appears that the thieves are now well aware that 21218 is the Wild West and lawlessness rules. We've got people being held up at gun point on the street, a slew of houses being broken into, and convenience stores being robbed. Oh and a stabbing just popped up in the corner....nice. * Wanders away mumbling *

I was referring to the 21211 zip, but CV has had its share of crime during the same period. These crimes occurred close enough to JHU that Campus Security should be involved. Those guys seem more proactive than BCPD and don't incur cost to the taxpayers!
