Baltimore Sun: Officer Injured in Interstate 83 Crash

A female Baltimore police officer suffered minor injuries while assisting a disable motorist on Interstate 83 near the 28th Street exit Thursday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

"She was taken to the hospital as a precaution and released shortly thereafter," a police spokesman told the newspaper.

The officer’s vehicle was rear-ended but it was not known if the officer was in the vehicle when it was hit, according to the article.

Last month was thrown from the side of I-83 and suffered serious injuries while assisting a disabled motorist.
