Boy, 16, Shot and Killed on Greenmount Avenue

Two other men were injured in the shooting and are in stable condition at area hospitals.

(UPDATE) 9:51 a.m., Wed.— A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed and two other men were wounded Tuesday night as Baltimore police continue to search for suspects. 

The shooting occured at about 8 p.m. in the  2600 block of Greenmount Avenue, according to Baltimore police.

Det. Vernon Davis, a police spokesman, said officers responded to the scene and found three men shot; one was unresponsive.

The 16-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after, while a 20-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were rushed to area hospitals where they are in stable condition. 

He said detectives were still at the scene at about 9 p.m. investigating the shooting.

Davis said Wednesday morning that  police are still in the process of searching for information aboot the shooting and suspects in the crime.
