Burglar: 'I Have the Wrong House'

A burglar targeting a Remington home has some bad luck.

A burglar pushed in a Remington home's window-mounted air conditioning unit and found something he wasn’t looking for—the home’s owner.

At 11:15 a.m., on July 9, a burglar pushed in an air conditioning unit in the front window of a home in the 200 block of West 31st Street, according to a police report.

Once the burglar climbed through the window the owner confronted him. The robber looked up and said, "I have the wrong house."

At that pointed the robber was escorted out of the house by the homeowner, according to the police report.

You mean the homeowner didn't call the police? The burglar wasn't arrested? He escorted him from the premises? WTF?

Dan, the homeowner did call the police that's why there's a police report on the incident. But the homeowner called after the burglar was escorted off the premise.
