City Man Suspected In Commercial Burglary

Dewees Park resident allegedly involved in Joppa Road commercial burglary

The Baltimore County Police are requesting the public's help in locating Robert Taylor, 34, for allegedly breaking into a commercial office in the 2300 block of Joppa Road in Lutherville on Dec. 10. 

Taylor's last known address is in the 5400 block of Lothian Road in the Dewees Park neighborhood in Baltimore.  

Taylor is described as a black male, with a heavy build and a scar over his left eyebrow.

Police responded to the office on Dec. 10, at about 8:57 a.m., after an employee discovered that the office had been broken into sometime overnight, according to a Baltimore County Police press release. It is unknown how the suspect entered the office.

The suspect stole a laptop and cash. Police were able to identify Taylor as a suspect after further investigation.

Taylor is also suspected of other commercial robberies that have occurred in the Cockeysville and Towson areas since June.

In the official press release, the Baltimore County Police Department requests that:

"Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Robert Taylor is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587). To text a message to Metro Crime Stoppers, send to "CRIMES" (274637), then enter the message starting with "MCS," or e-mail a tip to www.metrocrimestoppers.org. Those contacting Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000."
