CRIME: Shot Man Refuses to Cooperate

Harwood

Ilchester Avenue, 400 block, 11:30 p.m. July 2. A man was shot in the back, hip and buttock. He was uncooperative and gave conflicting stories and addresses of the incident.

North Charles Street, 2800 block, 6:57 p.m., June 27. A man was approached by six suspects who began punching him, and took $600 from him. The suspects fled with the money, but responding officers located a suspect who had $300.

Guilford

York Road, 4200 block, 3:15 a.m., June 26. Two suspects in a burgundy Ford Taurus picked up the victim. The suspects pulled into an alley and one of them told the victim “you know what time it is.” The victim struggled with the suspects, but they were able to take a cell phone and $35.

Better Waverly

Greenmount Avenue, 2600 block, 3:10 a.m., June 28. Two suspects approached the victim and one of them said to “kick it out” after pulling out a shotgun. A suspect fired one round into the air, and the victim handed over his bankcard. Both suspects fled.

Winston-Govans

Chateau Avenue, 500 block, 4:45 p.m., June 30. A woman was walking when a suspect, who was armed with a knife, told her “if you walk down here I will cut your [expletive] throat.” The woman called the police and the suspect was arrested.
