2 People Rescued From Hampden Duplex Blaze

The cause of the two alarm fire is still under investigation.

(UPDATED 2:30 p.m.)— Two adults were rescued from a burning duplex in Hampden on Thursday.

The blaze was reported just after noon, at 3627 Hickory Ave., where firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire on the first floor of the building.

There were two adults in the building who were removed from the building by firefighters, according to Chief Kevin Cartwright, a Baltimore Fire Department Spokesman.
