Hampden Woman Wakes Up, Finds Burglar Downstairs

The burglar was able to steal her license and Social Security card.

A woman woke up to find a burglar in her Hampden home.

According to Baltimore police, at 4 a.m., July 30, a woman woke up and went down stairs and discovered a burglar in her house in the 800 block of Powers Street.

The woman screamed and the robber ran out through a rear door and headed south in the alley.

The crime lab was called to the scene, and it was determined the burglar had entered the house through an unlocked window.

The burglar was able to steal the woman’s license, Social Security and medical cards.
