Juveniles Rob Woman in Abell

A woman was punched and her cell phone was stolen while walking in the neighborhood.

A group of juveniles assaulted and robbed a woman in the Abell neighborhood last week.

A woman was walking when a group of juveniles approached her just before 6 p.m. on May 7 in the 400 block of East 29th St., and started hitting her, according to a police report.  

The woman initially tried to ignore the juveniles, who eventually surrounded her and punched her in the face. After she was punched in the face, she dropped her cell phone.

One of the juveniles picked up the cell phone and ran and the others followed, according to a police report.
