Knife Wielding Robber Strikes in Oakenshawe

The robber approached a woman who was sitting in her car Tuesday afternoon.

A woman was robbed at knifepoint while sitting in a car in Oakenshawe.

According to a police report, the woman was in her car at about 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the 3400 block of University Place when the robber approached her.

The robber then displayed a knife and told the woman "give it to me."

She handed over a messenger bag, iPhone and an unknown amount of money. The robber then ran east on Birkwood Place.
