Man and Woman Shot in Barclay

Two adults were taken to an area hospital in serious condition.

Two people were shot in the 100 block of E. 22nd Street in Barclay on Saturday morning, a Baltimore City police spokesman said.

A man, 38, and a woman, 36, were in a burgundy SUV at about 10 a.m. when an unknown individual approached and shot both people. The woman was shot multiple times in the hip and leg and the man was shot in the arm, according to police.

The vehicle was then driven to the intersection of 23rd and Charles streets where police were called. Both the man and woman were taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
