Man Fatally Shot in Mid-Govans

The Baltimore police reported the shooting via social media Tuesday morning.

(UPDATED 11:42 a.m.)—A man was found shot to death in Mid-Govans early Tuesday morning.

Baltimore police responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Tunbridge Road, at about 1:44 in the morning, and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Sgt. J. Eric Kowalczyk, a police spokesman, said. 

The man was rushed to an area hospital but died of his wounds at 2:42 a.m.

Detectives have ruled the incident a homicide and continue to investigate.  

The name of the deceased has bot been released because his next of kin has not yet been notified, Kowalczyk said.
