The robber made off with $30 and a cell phone.

A man was retrieving his cell phone from his vehicle when he was robbed at gunpoint.

The man was retrieving his property from his car at 11:35 p.m. on Sept. 30 in the 5100 block of Underwood Road when a robber, according to a police report, approached him from behind.

The robber told the man to "be quiet" and showed a black handgun.

The robber then told the man to "get out of the car and give me money."

At that point the man got out of the car, handed the robber $30 and a cell phone. The robber then ran east on Winston Avenue with the property.
