Man Robbed Exiting Cab on Guilford

The robbers beat and kicked the man before stealing his cell phone.

A man was jumped and beaten by two robbers, one believed to be armed with a handgun, after getting out of a cab in Charles Village.

According to a police report, the a man was exiting a cab at 5:43 p.m. on Thursday in the 2800 block of Guilford Avenue when two robber walked up and struck the man.

Then one of the robbers armed with what the man thought was a handgun said: Give me the money."

When the man refused the robbers began to punch and kick him. During the struggle the man’s cell phone fell from his belt. The robbers picked up the cell phone and ran east on 28th Street.
