Man Robbed of Laptops, iPhone in Wyman Park

A robber punched the man and threatened to shoot him if he got up.

A man had two laptops, a calculator and an iPhone stolen after being punched in Wyman Park.

According to a police report, a man was walking at about 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 7 in the 3500 block of Beech Avenue, when two robbers approached him.

One of the robbers walked into the man and the second robber punched him.

While the man was on the ground they began to take his property. One of the robbers told him “don’t move, stay down or we’ll shoot you.”

The robbers then took the man’s backpack with the property and ran off.
