Man Shot in Charles Village

The man was shot in the leg and the wound is "non-fatal."

UPDATE (12:03 p.m.)—A man was shot during a robbery attempt just before 6 a.m. Thursday in the 2600 block of St. Paul Street, according to Baltimore City police.

A man, identified as a Prince George’s County resident, was approached by a robber with a handgun who demanded money, and then shot the man, spokesman Det. Kevin Brown said.

Police declined to say what hospital the wounded man was taken to. But earlier in the day police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi wrote in an email that the wound was “non-fatal.”
